On June 10, the founding conference and unveiling ceremony of CCCC Dredging (Group) Co., Ltd. (CCCC Dredging) was held in Shanghai, marking that the world's largest dredging company has gone into operation. Jiang Zhuoqing, vice mayor of Shanghai; Liu Qitao, chairman and Party secretary of CCCC; Chen Fenjian, president of CCCC and Jia Like, deputy director of the Planning & Development Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) unveiled CCCC Dredging. Fu Junyuan, executive director and CFO of CCCC; Song Hailiang and Wang Haihuai, vice president of CCCC and Zhou Jingbo, president assistant of CCCC and chairman of CCCC Dredging were present.

CCCC Dredging is a specialized subsidiary group approved by SASAC, initiated by CCCC and established through the business integration of CCCC Tianjin Dredging Co., Ltd. , CCCC Shanghai Dredging Co., Ltd. and CCCC Guangzhou Dredging Co., Ltd. , and is CCCC's major strategic decision to further intensify the construction of the dredging sector and march towards a world top dredging company in the process of building "five-style CCCC", accomplishing transformation and upgrading and first becoming a world top enterprise.

CCCC Dredging was registered at China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone with a capital of 11.7 billion yuan. It is mainly engaged in dredging, reclamation, dredging-related water conservancy, environmental and offshore engineering, maritime services, shipping survey and design business. By late 2014, it had been the world's largest dredging company in terms of the total hold capacity of suction dredgers and the total installed power of cutter suction dredgers. In the future, with the strategic goal of building a world top dredging company, it will pool the strength of CCCC's customer platforms and customers to establish a new investment and financing platform, build an internationally competitive, high-benefit and environmentally-friendly dredging fleet, seize the strategic opportunity of "globalization" of Chinese enterprises, perseveringly develop the international market, keep developing and extending emerging markets and fields, and enhance overall competitiveness and profitability.

Among over 100 attendees were heads of relevant state ministries and commissions, the Shanghai Municipal Government, key coastal port authorities, CCCC's relevant subsidiaries and departments and four major international dredging companies, as well as media representatives.
