SHENZHEN, China, June 1, 2015 -- China Information Technology, Inc. (the "Company" or "CNIT") (Nasdaq GS: CNIT), a leading provider of integrated cloud-based platform, exchange, and big data solutions in China, today announced that the Company attended the 2015 Guiyang International Big Data Expo ("Expo") that took place in Guiyang City from May 26, 2015 through May 29, 2015. At the Expo, the Company entered into strategic partnership with the Guiyang municipal government to collaborate on the "CNIT Internet + Smart Guiyang" project. Other participants of the project include Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. ("Huawei"), China Potevio Co., Ltd. ("China Potevio"), and Guizhou Zhiyuan IT Incubator Co., Ltd. ("Guizhou Zhiyuan").

The 2015 Guizhou Big Data Expo was an industry summit that exhibited the latest development in big data technologies and provided a world-class platform for exchanging business ideas. "Big Data Security and Development in the Era of 'Internet Plus' was the theme of this year's summit. The Expo attracted industry leaders from around the world such as Alibaba, Baidu, Intel, Lenovo and Microsoft. At the opening ceremony, a congratulatory letter from Premier Li Keqiang commented that China's "Internet Plus Strategy" is poised to promote innovative business models across different industries, which will help achieve medium to high-speed economic growth.

At the Expo, Mr. Zhixiong Huang, Senior VP of CNIT, signed strategic agreement with the Guiyang municipal government. According to the agreement, the Company will leverage on its proprietary Cloud-App-Terminal model and Cloud Nest data analytics to spearhead the "CNIT Internet + Smart Guiyang" project. The Company will build the "CNIT Internet + Elevator Internet of Things" platform and the "CNIT Internet + Smart Bus Stops" platform, and explore additional new media opportunities. CNIT will build a local cloud-computing center to provide technical and service support for its new media offerings in Guizhou province. Other partners include Huawei, China Potevio and Guizhou Zhiyuan, which will assist with the operation of the new media systems after the infrastructure is set up. The Guiyang municipal government is expected to assist the Company in obtaining preferential treatments from central and local governments as well as providing logistic support in office space and infrastructures.
