China Machinery Engineering : President Zhang Chun Inspects CMEC’s Representative Office in Bangladesh and Visits Local Chinese and Bangladeshi Officials

On June 8 and 9, President Zhang Chun led a team to inspect CMEC's representative office in Bangladesh. Zhang listened to the representative office's report on its work in the Bangladeshi market and gave important instructions on its next step of work.

On the afternoon of June 8, Zhang paid a special visit to Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ma Mingqiang. He briefed Ma about CMEC's development history and future development plan in Bangladesh. The ambassador told Zhang the current economic situation in Bangladesh and the general development situation of its electricity market, hoping that CMEC could seize the opportunity to actively explore the Bangladeshi market as the Bangladeshi central and local governments are vigorously developing the country's economy.

During his stay in Bangladesh, President Zhang also visited Mr. Mohammed Nasim, Minister of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh, Mr. Anisul Huq, Mayor of Dhaka, and Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus, Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources of Bangladesh, and talked with them about CMEC's current projects in Bangladesh and its future development plans in the South Asian country. During the talks, officials from all the Bangladeshi government departments fully affirmed CMEC's contribution to Bangladesh and its brand and reputation, and expressed their desire to continue to cooperate with CMEC.
