China Oilfield Services : COSL’s high-end logging technology enters the Canadian market

China Oilfield Services Limited ("COSL" or the "Company") has recently completed a logging operation for NEXEN in the western region in Canada in collaboration Tucker, a local oilfield services operator there. The Company's ELIS (Enhanced Logging Imaging System) equipment completed the operation and fulfilled all preset requirements in an operating environment at 30℃ below zero. This marked the first introduction into Canadian market of COSL's self-developed ELIS logging technology and services with intellectual property rights.

ELIS is a wireline logging imaging system to be applied in oil exploration and development self-developed by COSL with proprietary intellectual rights. It comprises three parts: surface acquisition system, downhole tools, and data interpretation and processing system. ELIS equipment experienced notable development against persistent competition since it was first introduced in the overseas markets in 2007. The Company has been expanding its high-end service business in recent years with commencement of operation of a batch of world-class advanced logging equipment. This operation represents the first time COSL rendered high-end logging technology services in the Canadian market. There will be another batch of high-end ELIS equipment shipped to Canada, supporting subsequent expansion of the Company's high end technology services in the country later this year.
