NOTICE OF BOARD MEETING
The board of directors (the "Board") of China Pacific
Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company") hereby announces
that a meeting of the Board will be held on Friday, 23 March
2012 for the purpose of considering and approving the final
results of the Company for the year ended
31 December 2011 and its publication, and the recommendation
of a final dividend, if any, and transacting any other
business.

Xiangdong, Mr. ZHOU Ciming, Mr. ZHENG Anguo and Ms. XU Fei;
and the independent non-executive directors of the Company
