Sinopec rounded off its first overseas security training for 2015 in the Advanced Techniques Training Centre of Sinopec East China Petroleum Company on January 8. 55 trainees from 8 subsidiaries attended a series of tailored classes during the 4-day program, with their awareness of public security enhanced and self-protection skills improved.

Theoretical lectures covering overseas security management practices, codes of conduct for overseas employees, psychological adjustment, first aid and occupational health were arranged based upon the conditions of those overseas regions where the trainees would be working. International security consultants from Beijing Dewei Security Group were invited to give a two-day field practice training, including self-defense skills, response training against hijacking, kidnapping and robbery, risk identification and response, nocturnal security evaluation, firearm knowledge and protection.
