22 NPC members and 4 members of the CPPCC National Committee from Sinopec are to attend the meetings of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference this year. They said that it is both an honor and a mission to attend the NPC and CPPCC meetings as representatives of Sinopec and that they would conscientiously perform their duties and actively participate in politics from the perspective of the petrochemical industry. The members of the 12th National People's Congress include: Mr. Li Anxi, Assistant to the President of Sinopec Group, President of Sinopec Qilu Company; Mr. Sun Huanquan, Director General of Sinopec Shengli Petroleum Administration and President of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Company; Ms. Li Shaoxia from the Data Interpretation and Advisory Center of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Well-Logging Company; Mr. Kong Fanqun, Director-General of Sinopec Zhongyuan Petroleum Exploration Bureau and  President of Sinopec Zhongyuan Oilfield Company;  Mr. Li Lianwu, Director-General of Sinopec Henan Petroleum Exploration Bureau and General Manager of Sinopec Henan Oilfield Company; Mr. Sun Jian, Director-General of Sinopec Jianghan Petroleum Administration and President of Sinopec Jianghan Oilfield Company, etc. The members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee are: Mr. Fu Chengyu, Chairman of Sinopec Group and Chairman of Sinopec Corp.; Mr. Cao Xianghong, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Senior Adviser of Sinopec Group and Adviser of the Science and Technology Commission; Mr. Zhang Mingsen, Deputy Chief Engineer of Sinopec Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry; and Mr. Hao Guoqiang, President of Sinopec Fujian Company.
