  • On March 29, Zhou Hongbo, Mayor of Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, inspected the construction site of the utility tunnel PPP project in Nanning, invested in and constructed by the consortium established by China Construction Fifth Engineering Pision Corp., Ltd. (CSCEC 5th Bureau) and China Construction Communications Engrg. Group Corp. Ltd. (CSCEC Communications). Mr. Zhou chaired the ad hoc conference for 2017 utility tunnel construction in Nanning.
    He required government departments at all level should reinforce their coordination and cooperation according to agreed timetable and requirements to support the construction of utility tunnels and promote relevant projects, so as to work out a Nanning Model for utility tunnel construction. All relevant districts should accelerate land requisition and demolition to ensure sufficient supply of land for projects. He also highlighted the importance of on-site management and production safety, as well as better coordination and supervision. (from CSCEC 5th Bureau)
