China State Const Eng : VP of CSCEC Works Shortly in the US, Bahamas, Jamaica and Saint Lucia

　　Zheng Xuexuan, the Vice President of China State Construction Engineering Corp., Ltd. (CSCEC), went to the US, Bahamas, Jamaica, and Saint Lucia and worked there from February 28 to March 16.
During this stay in the US, he attended the 2017 Work Conference of China Construction America (CCA). Highly praising achievements made by the CCA, he hoped the company can make more efforts on M&A, innovation upon business models, personnel training and risk aversion, make full use of its advantages in geological position and experience to further develop in the American market, continue to be an example of 'going global' for Chinese enterprises, and keep expanding the influence of CSCEC.

When in Bahamas, Mr. Zheng paid visits to Perry Christie, the Prime Minister of Bahamas, and Huang Qinguo, the Chinese Ambassador to Bahamas. The Prime Minister spoke highly the human contribution made by CSCEC to the society and people of Bahamas, and looked forward to maintain sound and deep cooperation with CSCEC. Mr. Zheng congratulated the major progress made in the Bahamas project. During his stay, he inspected the island resort project and attended the kick-off meeting. He said that he was impressed by the huge progress made in the past five months, and required the project team to ensure safe and on-schedule production to meet the target of the first delivery. He also attended the ground-breaking ceremony of the Phase II project of The Pointe, a coastal entertainment complex.
In Jamaica, he met with Andrew Holness, the Prime Minister of Jamaica, and Niu Qingbao, the Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica, and signed the cooperation agreement for some projects with the Prime Minister.
During his stay in Saint Lucia, Mr. Zheng was received several times by the country's Prime Minister Allen Michael Chastanet, and reported to him progress of some projects. Mr. Zheng said that his company will actively participate in construction of Saint Lucia and he would like to promote cooperation projects.
Mr. Zheng also paid a visit to German Vargas Lleras and reached consensus with him for future cooperation.
Besides, Mr. Zheng visited Equator, Mexico and other countries, inspected projects that the company follows up. He also paid visits to government officials, Chinese consulates in these countries and head of the economic section of the consulates, and had comprehensive communication with them about relevant projects.
