China Steel Corp. (2002.TW), Taiwan's largest steel producer by revenue, said Friday that it will keep its local June steel product prices unchanged from April-May.
In February the company raised its April-May prices by an average of 1.11%, reflecting rising global steel prices. It was the first price hike since for the October-November period.
China Steel had kept prices unchanged for March after cutting January-February prices by an average of 7.08%.
China Steel sells about 75% of its output on the domestic market and exports the rest, mostly to China and Japan.
