Analyst Update: New Partnership, Quarterly Financial Results, Contract Renewal, and Operational Statistsics

U.S. stocks edged higher on Wednesday as better than expected earnings and strong existing -home sales data bolstered investor sentiment. The NASDAQ advanced 0.42% to finish at 5,035.17, its third straight gain and just 13 points below its record close reached on March 10, 2000. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.49% or 88.35 points to 18,038.27, and the S&P 500 gained 0.50%, or 9.69 points to close the session at 2107.96. European stocks closed with a mixed note on Wednesday, depressed by increasing concern over Greece's bailout negotiations and disappointing earnings. Germany's DAX and Britain's FTSE 100 index slipped 0.6% and 0.5%, respectively, while France's CAC gained 0.36% on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Asian market continued their good run with The Shanghai Composite and Japan's Nikkei closing at new multi-year highs on Wednesday.

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. announced a new partnership with FireEye to share threat intelligence to protect customers from modern advanced attacks. The Company reported that Check Point's ThreatCloud and Next Generation Threat Prevention solutions and the FireEye NX platform will share the latest threat intelligence in real-time, customers to update firewall security policies dynamically based on the intelligence from both platforms, thereby providing joint customers with largest set of actionable threat intelligence in the industry.

Rovi Corporation reported that it has renewed its patent license and interactive program guide (IPG) product agreement with Charter Communications, Inc. - extending Charter's IPG patent license. The said agreement enables Charter to be able to license Rovi's products and services, including Rovi Search, Recommendations and Conversation Services, Rovi Metadata and Rovi Analytics.

Angie's List, Inc. reported first quarter 2015 financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2015. The Company reported total revenue of $83.5 million for Q1 2015, an increase of 15% YoY. Angie's also highlighted its service provider revenue as the largest and fastest growing component of total revenue at $66.2 million, representing a 22% YoY growth.

China Mobile Limited reported its unaudited key performance indicators for the first quarter of 2015, with operating revenue growth of 3.9% YoY to RMB160.9 billion. However, the Company's profit attributable to equity shareholders stood at RMB23.8 billion, a 5.6% YoY decline.

China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited reported its operational statistics for the month of March 2015. The report released on April 20, 2015 highlighted that aggregate number of mobile subscribers stood at 294.751 million. However, net additions of mobile subscribers came in a negative 1.609 million.
