Chorus today announced two appointments to complete the composition of its executive team.

Paula Earl-Peacock has been appointed to the existing General Manager of Human Resources role on Chorus' executive team. Ms Earl-Peacock is a commercially-focused HR generalist with over 20 years' experience developing and implementing effective people and organisational change. She is returning to New Zealand from Australia where she has spent the past four years as People & Organisation Director at Mars Petcare Australia, having previously held the same role at Mars Petcare's New Zealand operation for five years.

In the second appointment, Ian Bonnar has been appointed to the newly-created executive role of General Manager Corporate Relations. Mr Bonnar has held the position of Corporate Affairs Manager at Chorus for 18 months. The new executive role has been created to lead a strategic corporate communications function encompassing Community & Industry Relations, Media Relations, Government Relations and Internal Communications functions, which were previously driven out of different parts of Chorus.

Chorus CEO Mark Ratcliffe said, "I'm absolutely delighted that Paula and Ian are joining our executive. While they obviously bring different capabilities to the table, they will both contribute valuably to our vision and direction for the growth and success of Chorus."

Ms Earl-Peacock's appointment is effective on Monday 3rd November, while Mr Bonnar's appointment is effective immediately.

Both roles will be based in Auckland.
