Chorus has today provided an update on its fault restoration performance as at 15 June, 2017.

As a commitment to transparency, Chorus will provide the latest figures every week throughout winter.

Fault restoration across the country has increased slightly since the previous update, with the average time to restore going from 23.4 hours last week to 24.8 hours yesterday.

Chorus' website includes a network outage checker (https://outages.chorus.co.nz) which people can use to see if there is an outage in their area. The tool gives an overview of the outage and estimated restoration times.

Fault restoration performance month to date at 15 June, 2017:

- Faults logged with Chorus: 16,082
- Faults restored month to date: 16,156
- Average time to restore: 24.8 hours
- Current open faults: 1262
- Faults open for more than three days: 62
