Very strong growth in order intake with positive sales performance in the second half of 2016
Boudry, 17 January 2017 - Cicor (SIX Swiss Exchange: CICN), a high-tech industrial group and international leader in the areas of printed circuit boards, microelectronics and electronic solutions, headquartered in Boudry (Switzerland), announces that its preliminary order intake and sales figures for financial year 2016 were pleasing.
The preliminary, unaudited order intake figure for the full year 2016 of approximately CHF 220 million is 25% higher than the previous year (CHF 176.3 million) and underlines the upward trend of the Cicor Group in recent months.
After Cicor increased its sales in Swiss francs by only 0.9% in the first half of 2016, the improved growth dynamic in the second half of 2016 led to a sales increase of approximately 5% to CHF 189 million (unaudited) for the full year 2016 (2015: CHF 180.6 million).
In addition, the Cicor Group was able to reverse the downward trend in earnings during the second half of 2016.
Cicor will publish its final financial figures for 2016 on 9 March 2017.
