RE: CIMIC DENIES LIABILITY FOR CLASS ACTION AGAINST UGL

CIMIC Group has received notification that a class action has been filed in the Victorian Registry of the Federal Court by Phi Finney McDonald.

The claim relates to the 6 November 2014 disclosure by UGL regarding the construction, by a joint venture consortium, of a Combined Cycle Power Plant at the Ichthys Liquefied Natural Gas project in the Northern Territory.

CIMIC Group denies the claim and will defend the class action. CIMIC Group acquired UGL in December 2016.
