CIR: new responsive website goes live

Milan, July 20 2015 - The new website of the CIR group www.cirgroup.com, with a responsive design that adapts automatically to all navigation devices (PCs, tablets, smartphones), has gone live. The website is able to offer visitors a simpler and more functional navigation experience thanks to the enhanced readability of its content and its faster loading times.

The adoption of responsive web design for the CIR website is in line with the growing need of users to access internet content on their mobile devices. In Italy, according to Audiweb figures (April 2015), the amount of time that users spend online on their mobile devices on an average day (an average of 1 hour 37 minutes per person) is greater than the time they dedicate to navigating via their PCs (just over one hour).

Responsive technology is becoming more and more widespread even for businesses: according to the Comprend Webranking 2014 survey, 24% of the companies listed on the Stock Exchange belonging to the FT 500 have adopted a responsive website compared to 11% in 2013.

Responsive design is not the only new feature of www.cirgroup.com, which also has new graphics and new content. The website, designed in conjunction with the agency Key Technologies, has a vertically scrolling layout and on its home page has a video channel, the latest news and a link to the main social media. The home page of the new CIR website also shows the latest press releases, the most important documents (company profile, most recent financial statements and presentations), real-time quotes of the group stocks listed on the Stock Exchange and corporate events. The main sections of the website are Group, Businesses, Governance, Sustainability, Investors and Press.
