In just a couple of days, I'll be wheels up to Dallas for Cisco Partner Summit 2017. This year we have a great lineup of speakers and impact sessions, and I can't wait to engage with partners and learn more about how we're delivering the digital future together.

As the industry changes at such a rapid pace, we have to adapt together. We're here to help you develop new value for your products and solutions, create recurring revenue opportunities and win with other ecosystem partners. Partner Summit is such an important time for us and our partners because, quite simply, we can't do this alone. If I had to pick a line from a movie to describe our relationship with our partners, it'd be the classic:

You complete me.

It's true. That's why we're continuing to make investments to support your profitability and growth, as well as removing complexity to make it easier to be a Cisco partner. And ultimately, we'll embrace the digital opportunity, we'll evolve and we'll win together. That's the essence of OWN IT! - the theme of Partner Summit 2017.

Just like last year, there will be no shortage of valuable insights from our Cisco leaders and speakers to take away in the general sessions and the impact sessions. There are also a few noteworthy changes that we've made to make Partner Summit a better overall experience for partners on site in Dallas and those watching Virtual Partner Summit from home:

Condensed Agenda: This year the Partner Summit program will take place over two days instead of three. This shorter time frame allows people to spend more time with their families and friends, especially for those celebrating Halloween, without sacrificing any of the program's content. This shared priority extends beyond our business relationships.

Segmented Impact Sessions: We have segmented our 12 unique impact sessions into tracks to help partners decide which to choose.

  • Technology Architecture- Deep dive into our latest innovations, acquisitions, and product roadmaps.
  • Go To Market- See the latest on how to navigate changing markets, the evolution of digital customer engagements, new routes to market, and how to use the partner ecosystem to your advantage.
  • Partner Practice Evolution- Hear about customer success, partner program evolution and how we're making it easier and more profitable to be a Cisco partner.

Partner Hub: Formerly known as the collaboration lounge. The Partner Hub will be a place where partners can connect with each other and Cisco executives, learn about the latest Cisco technologies through interactive demos and grab a bite to eat between activities. One of the booths I'm most excited about in the Partner Hub is for TalentBridge, a program that connects our partners with top talent from the Cisco Networking Academy.

No matter where in the world you're watching from, we want to hear from you about this year's Summit on social media. We'll have a social leaderboard displayed in the Partner Hub and you can reach the top by using our official hashtag #CiscoPS17 in all your social media posts.
