"The ambulance, which has been in service since September, has already been involved in more than 60 life-saving missions. We look forward to building our relationship with LifeFlight, which has helped thousands of local children for more than 30 years."

MIAMI, FL - CIT Aerospace, a global leader in aircraft finance, has helped acquire a new ambulance for the Miami Children's Hospital LifeFlight® fleet. A recent dedication ceremony was held at the Opa-Locka Executive Airport. The ambulance was purchased with $75,000 raised earlier this year during the CIT Aerospace Golf Invitational held at the Diplomat Tennis and Golf Club. Since 1978, LifeFlight® has utilized ambulances, helicopters and chartered jet aircraft to provide transport of critically ill children throughout South Florida and the Caribbean.

"We are very pleased that LifeFlight used the funds we raised from our inaugural golf tournament to acquire this ambulance," said Jeff Knittel, President of CIT Transportation and International Finance. "The ambulance, which has been in service since September, has already been involved in more than 60 life-saving missions. We look forward to building our relationship with LifeFlight, which has helped thousands of local children for more than 30 years."

Flynn Turner, Director of Major Gifts at Miami Children's Health Foundation, said, "There are many families in our local communities that depend on the lifesaving services provided by the Miami Children's Hospital. We're grateful for the contributions of CIT Aerospace and its clients and partners, which will enable Miami Children's Hospital's LifeFlight program to continue its mission of providing transportation to critically ill children."

The following companies donated funds to benefit LifeFlight: Airbus, Alaris Aero, Atlas Air, Bank of Utah, Bombardier, Brickell Motors, Commercial Jet/AEI Engines, CTS Engines, Dassault Falcon Jet, Embraer, Fafinski Mark and Johnson P.A., GE (Engines), INAV Group, Inc., International Aircraft Associates, Jet Aviation, Landing Gear Technologies, Moore & Van Allen PLLC, PHI Air Medical, Spirit Airlines, Werner Aero and Worthington Aviation.
