Citi Private Bank announced today the appointment of Ed Riley as Head of Equities for the Americas. Mr. Riley is based in New York, reporting to Kristen Bitterly Michell, Capital Markets Head for the Americas, Citi Private Bank. In this capacity, Mr. Riley will be responsible for the entirety of the Equities Business in addition to running the Structured Solutions Business in the Americas. “We are delighted that Ed has joined our team. He has nearly twenty years of experience in markets and his deep expertise in equities will greatly complement the broader work that we’ve done to enhance our client offering,” said Ms. Bitterly Michell.

Prior to joining Citi Private Bank, Mr. Riley was previously at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he was a Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets Product/Platform Structuring & Origination within the Global Wealth & Investment Management division. In this role, he was responsible for investment solutions tailored for the Private Client segment; including, Structured Notes, OTC Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Equity Option Overlay, Exchange Funds, Securities Lending, and Social Impact Investments.
