Citi Private Bank announced today that Kristen Bitterly Michell has been appointed Head of Investment Counseling for the East Region. Ms. Bitterly Michell will be based in New York and report to Jonathan Leach, Head of North America Investments Counselors. In this capacity Ms. Bitterly Michell will be responsible for leading investment services for ultra-high-net-worth clients. “Kristen brings nearly two decades of industry experience and expertise in investments. Her team leadership and client coverage will further elevate our client franchise,” said Mr. Leach.

Prior to this role, Ms. Bitterly Michell served as Capital Markets Head of Structured Solutions for Citi Private Bank. She led a team of experienced product specialists that provided ultra-high-net-worth investors with cross asset derivative strategies, bespoke structured products and hedging and liquidity strategies. Prior to joining Citi, Ms. Bitterly Michell led structured product sales to Latin American investors at Credit Suisse and previously provided structured derivative solutions to private investor clients at JPMorgan. Ms. Bitterly Michell holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
