Citizens & Northern : Bank’s Loan Office is Open for Business in Elmira, NY

WELLSBORO, PA - On Wednesday, March 1, the team from Citizens & Northern Bank cut the ceremonial red ribbon, signifying that its new loan production office is open for business. Although the representative office will not operate as a branch, which means it does not accept deposits or execute banking transactions, it is an important enhancement of Citizens & Northern's engagement in the Elmira market.

"We've had the pleasure of doing business in this market for years and now this office allows us to have a physical presence in the heart of downtown Elmira, where we believe great things will continue to happen. We want to be a big part of it," said Brad Scovill, President & CEO. He also made it clear that C&N brings a unique banking model to the area. Plans for the office include adding a Mortgage Specialist, whose primary focus will be providing local expertise to consumers interested in upgrading, downsizing or making the most of their current home.
