Notice regarding issuance of 2017 unaudited preliminary results

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc (the "Company") announces it will release its unaudited preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2017 on Thursday, 8 February 2018 at 7.00 a.m. (GMT).

Following the possible offer made in August 2017 by Agapier Investments Limited, a company indirectly and wholly-owned by City Developments Limited ("CDL"), the Company's controlling shareholder, certain information protocols and restrictions were put into place within the Company to limit the flow of information between the Company and Directors connected to CDL. Whilst the offer lapsed on 26 January 2018, these protocols and restrictions have impeded the normal year-end process and consequently the Company will release unaudited preliminary results1 on 8 February 2018, with its audited annual report and accounts for 2017 to be released in due course, at least 21 clear days prior to the Company's annual general meeting, which currently is scheduled for Friday, 4 May 2018.

The Company will host a presentation and conference call for investors and analysts on Thursday, 8 February 2018.

1 Pursuant to Listing Rule 9.7A.1R, the preliminary results statement will be agreed with the Company's auditors prior to publication.
