Cloud Peak Energy confirms a fatality at its Spring Creek Mine in Montana at approximately 7:00 p.m. local time on June 23, 2014 in a single haul truck incident. There are no other injuries to report. Next of kin has been notified.

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and Big Horn County Sheriff have been notified and are on site. The cause of the incident is being investigated.
