CLP Continues to Energise Lumieres Hong Kong

The CLP Group is honoured to be the Energising Partner of Lumieres Hong Kong once again in 2018 and continue our contribution towards promoting the history, arts and culture of the city. We are proud to be the first commercial partner committed to supporting the second edition of Lumieres Hong Kong, bringing back this spellbinding light festival to the city on 29 November to 2 December.

In the inaugural Lumieres Hong Kong held in November last year, visitors were dazzled by the artistic displays of the many faces of Hong Kong through creative light installations and video projections at iconic landmarks on both sides of the Victoria Harbour. Besides sponsoring the event, CLP also organised a series of complementary activities including game booths at major shopping mall and a social media campaign.

Last year we supported Lumieres Hong Kong based on the same commitment to light up the city and bring out the best of its history and culture. We are excited about the opportunity to be part of this meaningful event again this year through which we hope the people of Hong Kong will discover the mesmerising charm of our home," said CLP Power Chief Corporate Development Officer Quince Chong. Ms Chong has been a member of the Lumieres Hong Kong advisory committee for the second year.

Dr Andrew Yuen, Chairman of Lumieres Hong Kong, said, "We will have a longer and bigger Lumieres Hong Kong this year and the displays are going to be even more fascinating. We especially welcome CLP to be our Energising Partner again and we truly appreciate its support."

Association Culturelle France Hong Kong Ltd, organiser of the event, said the second edition of Lumieres Hong Kong will be held at 15 buildings on the Hong Kong island and Kowloon. The locations will be decorated by 15 teams of international and local artists selected to participate in the event.
