Two CNP prizewinners at the Women in Insurance Awards

Paris, 5 December 2014

The third edition of the Women in Insurance Awards (Trophées de la Femme dans l'Assurance), organised by L'Argus de l'assurance, took place yesterday and saw two of CNP Assurances' three nominees selected:

  • Martine Vareilles won the Trophy for female manager. She is head of the La Banque Postale Partnership business unit and a member of the CNP Assurances Executive Committee,
  • Magali Noé won the Trophy for female actuary. She is head of the Eurocroissance project at CNP Assurances.

CNP Assurances has once again been able to put the talents of its female employees in the spotlight, with employees having been awarded the sales woman and insurance woman of the year trophies in 2013 and the female business actuary prize in 2012.

Beyond its success, CNP Assurances, partner of the event, was once again involved in promoting the prize for "femme meilleur espoir" (best female prospect), awarded yesterday by Frédéric Lavenir, the Group's Chief Executive Officer.

Martine Vareilles, management and leadership serving clients

Martine Vareilles has a doctorate in mathematics and holds a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in IT and statistics. She also studied marketing at the INSEAD business school.
Martine has been part of the CNP Assurances group since 2011 and a member of the Executive Committee since 2013. She is currently head of the La Banque Postale Partnership business unit.
She began her career in 1984 at Abeille Paix Réassurance as head of life insurance before joining AGF (now Allianz) in 1987 where she went on to become Director of Group Pensions. In 2006, Martine joined La Mutuelle Générale, first as Technical Director of LMG and MNT, two mutual health insurers within Mutaris, and then as Assistant Director of Insurance and Development and member of the Management Board.

Magali Noé, actuary and marketing talent serving innovation

Magali Noé is a qualified actuary and a graduate of the Strasbourg Actuarial School (École d'Actuaire de Strasbourg).
Upon joining CNP Assurances in 2008, Magali initially held the position of head of product marketing, research and monitoring, before becoming head of wealth engineering and distribution in 2011. Since 2013, she has been special advisor to the Chief Executive Officer in her capacity as head of the Eurocroissance project, the success of which depends in particular on her ability to unite the company.
