Coca-Cola Amatil Limited (CCA) today announced the appointment of Mr John Borghetti to its Board as a Non-executive Director, effective 1 December 2015.
Mr Borghetti is currently Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Virgin Australia Group of Airlines and has held this position since May 2010. Mr Borghetti brings over 40 years commercial experience in consumer focused, internationally diversified businesses, including 37 years with Qantas prior to his appointment at Virgin Australia Group.
CCA Chairman, Mr David Gonski welcomed Mr Borghetti to the Board. 'John brings highly relevant consumer and listed company leadership experience to CCA, including working successfully with large partners and operating across a range of international markets. He provides an excellent complement to the skills and backgrounds we have already at our board table.'
Mr Borghetti also serves as a Director of Energy Australia, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and the NSW Customer Advisory Board. He has previously served as a Director of Jetset Travelworld, Sydney FC, Piper Aircraft (USA), The Australian Ballet and CARE Australia.
