New York, NY, June 8, 2016-Cohen & Steers, Inc. (NYSE:CNS) today reported preliminary assets under management of $56.3 billion as of May 31, 2016, an increase of $1.3 billion from April 30, 2016. The increase was due to total inflows of $1.0 billion, comprised of institutional net inflows of $727 million, open-end fund net inflows of $273 million and market appreciation of

$622 million, partially offset by distributions of $274 million. Distributions for institutional subadvisory, open-end funds, and closed-end funds were $240 million, $27 million and $7 million, respectively.
