Colas has recorded a good first half-year 2008, marked by robust growth in activity
throughout practically all of its businesses. As of June 30, 2008, consolidated revenue totaled
5.6 billion euros compared to 4.9 billion euros at the end of June 2007, up 14.3% (+ 10.3 %
with identical exchange rates and scope of business).

France

Revenue in France at the end of June 2008 rose 3.537 billion euros, a 12.3% increase
compared to the end of June 2007.

       - In mainland France, revenue at the end of June 2008 amounted to 3.3 billion
           euros, a 12.5 % rise compared to the end of June 2007 (+ 8.1 % with unchanged
scope of business). A great number of raw material price hikes (in particular
bitumen and energy) have contributed to this increase. Revenue in the regional
road subsidiaries is 7% higher than last year. Activity during the first half-year
remained buoyant, despite several regional disparities, thanks to the fact that
business got off to a quick start without any winter season slow-down. The non-
road related businesses have all posted strong growth with an increase of over 30%
compared to the end of June 2007, due essentially to the rail and waterproofing
           sectors.

       - In the French overseas departments, revenue is up 10% thanks in particular to
strong business in building, public works and civil engineering on Reunion Island.

by business in Morocco, Madagascar and the acquisition of a new company in Australia.
