Romania

Colas Romania, a subsidiary of Colas in Romania, has just been awarded a
design-build contract for a 20-km section of highway between the towns of
Cernavoda and Medgidia, with 3 bridges, including an 840-meter long viaduct.

This 150-million euro contract is the final stretch in the southern section of
the Paneuropean Corridor IV that links Bucharest to the Black Sea.

Work is slated to start in the summer of 2009, and will last 24 months.

With the Suceava bypass in the north, this is the second design-build contract
