Commonwealth Bank is proud to have the largest branch network in Australia.

Our branches enable us to provide great customer service, convenience and access to the latest banking solutions.

We are constantly investing in our branch network including opening new branches, relocating to areas of population and business growth and refurbishing them.

As at 30 June 2016, Commonwealth Bank had 1,000 branches (1,131 including Bankwest stores).

In the last financial year, we invested $57 million into Commonwealth Bank branches across Australia.

We also recognise that customers increasingly want to bank with us at a time and place that is convenient for them.

We continue to see a rise in the use of our digital banking solutions such as NetBank and the CommBank app. We've also seen an increase in the number of customers using ATMs - enabling them to withdraw funds as well as deposit cash and cheques outside of standard branch hours.

Our continued investment in equipping our branches with the most advanced technology supports our team to have better quality conversations with our customers, to understand their needs and to provide the best possible service and guidance.

Our branches continue to play an important role in the service we provide to our customers.
