We announce to Shareholders that, on November 14th, 2011, interest on equity (IOE) will be paid, in the amount of R$ 42,523,851.36 (forty-two million, five hundred and twenty-three thousand, eight hundred and fifty-one reais and thirty-six centavos), related to the third quarter of 2011, as declared at the Board of Directors’ Meeting held on September 16th, 2011.
The shareholders owning positions on September 21st, 2011 will be eligible to receive the interest on equity in the gross amount of R$ 0.37 (thirty-seven centavos of real) per share, regarded the following conditions:
a) the withholding income tax (IRRF) will be deducted from the amounts mentioned above, pursuant to prevailing laws, and net amounts shall be paid to shareholders, except for those provenly immune or exempted;
b) the interest on equity amount will be attributed to the mandatory dividend of 2011;
c) the shareholders whose records do not include their individual taxpayer’s ID (CPF) or corporate taxpayer’s ID (CNPJ) or indication of bank/branch and checking account shall have their rights credited as soon as they update their records at Banco do Brasil’s branches.
