News Release -- December 19, 2014

SYDNEY, Australia, 19 Dec. 2014-CSC (NYSE: CSC), a global leader in next-generation IT services and solutions, today announced it has significantly extended its scope of Information Technology (IT) services with BlueScope (ASX: BSL), Australia's largest steel manufacturer for the building and construction markets.

Under the five-year agreement, CSC will now be responsible for transforming and modernising BlueScope's current IT systems to become an end-to-end IT as-a-Service (ITaaS) environment including the provision of next-generation offerings from CSC. The investment required to undertake this initiative will be funded as a result of the savings achieved through the adoption of next-generation IT services.

Larry Howard, chief information officer, BlueScope Australia and New Zealand, said, "It is important for BlueScope to partner with its key suppliers in order to achieve better business outcomes. The longstanding relationship with CSC has enabled us to continue to evolve the partnership and build even more value into the next five-year term."

The expanded agreement will see CSC provide BlueScope with additional application support services including ERP and Big Data, as well as expanded Service Desk, Workplace, Network, Cybersecurity and Platform support services leveraging CSC BizCloud™, a private cloud solution.

"This agreement perfectly exemplifies CSC's go-to-market strategy, which necessitates a deep understanding of our client's business needs, takes them on an as-a-service transformation journey and delivers operational and cost benefits in real time," said Seelan Nayagam, managing director, CSC Australia & New Zealand.

"CSC has been a trusted partner of BlueScope for over 14 years and we are now looking forward to working collaboratively with them in this next evolution of their IT journey," added Nayagam.
