July 20, 2016-- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its Commercial Solutions segment was notified that it was awarded a five-year contract with a potential value of approximately $45.0 million to provide a statewide Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Emergency Service IP Network (ESInet) in Washington State. Comtech will install and manage a state-wide enterprise system based upon NENA NG9-1-1 compliant elements that include geo-spatial call routing and advanced reporting capabilities. Comtech has designed an end-to-end solution for NG9-1-1 call delivery with both in-state and out-of-state data centers to ensure continuous operability via geo-redundancy.
