Pass My Parcel is delighted to announce the launch of its second 'Pass It On' Christmas campaign, following the success of the initiative last year.

Over the next two months the Company will be calling on colleagues from over 80 locations to donate preloved winter clothing to help keep homeless and vulnerable people warm this Christmas.

Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Bunting explains the importance of the campaign:

"Homelessness is an issue close to many people's hearts. Being out on the streets can have a devastating effect on a person's health and wellbeing, especially during the cold winter months, and a simple gesture like providing warm clothing and a hot drink can make the world of difference. It has a practical purpose, but it also tells them that someone is thinking about them."

The campaign, which is a collaboration between Pass My Parcel and its sister coffee company Jack's Beans, is part of a year-long initiative to help drive awareness of the rising issue of homelessness. Figures from charity Shelter suggest there are now more than 250,000 people living on the streets in the UK but campaigns like Pass It On can have a huge impact.

"Last year we collected and distributed a staggering 5,000 items across 17 locations, continues Jonathan, and this year our aim is even bigger. As well as donating preloved winter clothing, colleagues can buy selected items to donate from Amazon, one of Pass My Parcel's biggest clients."

All donations will be handed out at cities across the UK throughout December. For updates on 'Pass It On', visit Pass My Parcel's social media pages.
