The Constantin Medien AG Group sets course for the future and makes important personnel changes. After five years as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Fred Kogel will resign from the control board of the media company at the end of the ordinary Annual General Meeting 2014 of Constantin Medien AG and is intended to assume operative tasks in the Group. It is intended that the 53 year-old will be appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the Management Board of Constantin Medien AG, effective October 1, 2014. As of the same date, he is also intended to become the COO in the segment TV and New Business in the Management Board of the Group company Constantin Film AG.

The successor to Fred Kogel at the top of the Supervisory Board of Constantin Medien AG is planned to be Dr. Dieter Hahn (52). With Dr. Hahn, Managing Director and shareholder of KF 15 GmbH & Co. Dr. Hahn has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2009 and will run for re-election for the Board at the upcoming ordinary Annual General Meeting. At the same time, he will be proposed as new Supervisory Board Member at the Annual General Meeting of Constantin Film AG on May 28, 2014.

Werner E. Klatten (68), Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Constantin Medien AG, will not stand for re-election to the Supervisory Board. He has been in the Supervisory Board since 2008. The Supervisory Board and Management Board would like to thank Werner E. Mr. Klatten will remain associated with the Company and its shareholders.

Jean-Baptiste Felten will be proposed to the Annual General Meeting as a new Member of the Supervisory Board. From 1990 to 1994 he was Vice President Marketing Communications at ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd., in Zurich.

Discussions are currently in progress to find a competent candidate for the vacant sixth spot on the Supervisory Board of Constantin Medien AG. A candidate will be proposed to the shareholders with the invitation to the ordinary Annual General Meeting 2014.

Bernhard Burgener, Chairman of the Management Board of Constantin Medien AG: "The personnel changes are another key developmental step for our Group. I am very pleased that we have been able to set this course, which will strengthen our company. KF 15 and Dieter Hahn have accompanied and supported Constantin Medien for many years. Not least with the planned change at the top of the Supervisory Board, the shareholder structure of our company will be reflected more clearly in the control board in the future. I particularly thank Fred Kogel for the trustful and close working relationship we have had over the past years. At the same time, I am quite pleased that he would like to implement his vast experience as an acknowledged media manager in the future as a Member of the Management Board of Constantin Medien AG and Constantin Film AG."

Dr. Dieter Hahn stated: "I will gladly pursue the request to assume more responsibility in the Supervisory Board of Constantin Medien. The company possesses very high potentials. I am convinced that Constantin will develop positively and I am gladly ready to commit to that. I thank Fred Kogel for contributing his extensive industry expertise into the company and that together with Bernhard Burgener and Antonio Arrigoni an experienced and ideally complemented Management Board will be formed. I thank Werner E. Klatten very much for his many years of service for Constantin Medien. He will remain in contact with us and with me personally."

Fred Kogel commented: "In 1984, exactly 30 years ago, I started my professional career with Constantin Film and was always very close with the company over this period. The offer to become Chief Operating Officer (COO) of both group companies was especially appealing to me and gives me the opportunity to realize cooperation possibilities and synergies, particularly in Munich. As a team with my future Board colleagues, we would like to further develop the entire Group, which has great potential.
