Sports Segment with immediate effect

of PLAZAMEDIA and Constantin Sport Medien in addition
to his function as CFO of Constantin Medien AG

The positions of the present Commercial Director of the
sports companies, Markus Maximilian Sturm, will be assumed
by Leif Arne Anders for SPORT1 and Constantin Sport
Marketing, and by Markus Pieper for PLAZAMEDIA and
Constantin Sport Medien
Changes in the executive bodies of Constantin Medien AG and
companies of the Sports Segment. Thilo Proff, who has been the
COO Sports of Constantin Medien AG since March 1, 2012 and in
addition Managing Director of Sport1 GmbH, Constantin Sport
Medien GmbH and PLAZAMEDIA GmbH TV- und Film-Produktion,
requested the Supervisory Board of Constantin Medien AG to
terminate his employment contract for personal reasons and has
resigned from the Group with immediate effect as of today.
Bernhard Burgener, CEO of Constantin Medien AG: "We deeply
regret that our esteemed Management Board colleague, Thilo
Proff, has resigned from his positions in our Group and will no
longer be able to support us with the further development of
our Sports Segment. We sincerely thank him for the trusting and
excellent collaboration and in this way wish him all the best
for the future."
With immediate effect, the operating responsibility for Sport1
GmbH and the entire Sports Segment of Constantin Medien AG is
now in the hands of Bernhard Burgener, CEO of Constantin Medien
AG. The Managing Director position of PLAZAMEDIA GmbH TV- und
Film-Produktion and Constantin Sport Medien GmbH will be
assumed by Antonio Arrigoni in addition to his function as CFO
of Constantin Medien AG.
There will also be a change in Commercial Management of the
sports companies: Markus Maximilian Sturm, acting in various
functions since 2001 for the Constantin Medien Group and, since
July 2009, as Commercial Director of Sport1 GmbH, Constantin
Sport Medien GmbH, Constantin Sport Marketing GmbH and
PLAZAMEDIA GmbH TV- und Film-Produktion, will be leaving the
Constantin Medien Group on his own request and by mutual
agreement as of December 15, 2012.
Markus Maximilian Sturm's successor as Commercial Director of
SPORT1 and Constantin Sport Marketing will be Leif Arne Anders
(40), who is currently commercial manager of SPORT1. At
PLAZAMEDIA and Constantin Sport Medien, Markus Pieper (38), who
is currently manager of finance and accounting of PLAZAMEDIA,
will be assuming the Commercial Director position.

the corporate finance division of Constantin Medien AG and most
recently as Commercial Director of our Sports companies. With

tasks in our sports companies and with whom we will be able to
shape the successful future of our Company together."
Leif Arne Anders
Leif Arne Anders has been the commercial manager of SPORT1
(formerly: DSF, Deutsches SportFernsehen) since June 2006.
After his studies of management economics at the Scientific
University for Management (WHU) in Koblenz, he started his
career with the KirchGruppe in mid-1997. Mr Anders was
co-responsible, among others, for setting up the controlling
function at KirchMediaKGaA. Furthermore, he was assigned by
KirchHolding GmbH & Co. KG to work for one year in London at
Formula One Management Ltd. Here, he re-structured the
managerial department.
Markus Pieper
Markus Pieper has headed the finance and accounting department
of PLAZAMEDIA since March 2010. He comes from SPORT1, where he
was also the head of the managerial department. The business
graduate looks back on many years of experience as controller
in the media sector: From August 2001 to July 2009 he was at
Seven One Intermedia GmbH and ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG; most
recently he has been the deputy department head of
controlling.
