  • Individual product designs as required by the customer
  • Economical solution thanks to low ground pressure and long service life

Hanover, November 2015. Robust and high-performance: Trackman is a world-leading brand of rubber tracks for the agricultural technology and construction sectors. In particular, the brand's rubber tracks are used in heavy equipment and tractor units such as agricultural tractors, combines, pickups, and road construction equipment. In 2015, ContiTech gained the Trackman brand as part of the acquisition of U.S. rubber specialist Veyance and is now intensifying its global development and sales activities. ContiTech will develop further applications with customer-specific solutions for the European market.

Rubber tracks are like closed drive belts with a track section on which tracked agricultural and construction vehicles move forward. Compared with wheels, they distribute the weight of the vehicle more evenly across a larger surface and prevent soil compaction. ContiTech rubber tracks are particularly useful in large machines used for heavy and moderately heavy applications. Even at drive capacities of over 500 hp, they offer secure grip on soft, pliable soils, while their high abrasion resistance and long service life are impressive, even in difficult conditions. The rubber tracks are maintenance-free and consume less energy than other track variants, allowing them to create economical holistic solutions that are profitable throughout their operating life.

For many decades, Trackman rubber tracks have impressed customers with their performance and wide range of products. ContiTech is using these experiences and the patents for the construction of tread lugs, for reinforcing materials, and for manufacturing processes to design rubber tracks for specific applications. This development expertise will particularly benefit customers in the original equipment sector. 'Thanks to our know-how, we can develop individual solutions that are tailor-made for our customers' machines,' says Dr. Michael Hofmann, head of Advanced Belting Solutions at the ContiTech Conveyor Belt Group.

Alongside the original equipment sector, ContiTech also produces its rubber tracks for the replacement sector. Here, the range includes sizes of up to 36 inches wide and 400 inches long. We can also supply special sizes.
