ISSAQUAH, WA--(Marketwired - Aug 5, 2015) - Costco Wholesale Corporation ("Costco" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: COST) today reported net sales of $8.64 billion for the month of July, the four weeks ended August 2, 2015, an increase of one percent from $8.55 billion during the similar period last year. For the forty-eight weeks ended August 2, 2015, the Company reported net sales of $104.95 billion, an increase of three percent from $101.43 billion during the similar period last year.

Costco currently operates 680 warehouses, including 480 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 89 in Canada, 36 in Mexico, 26 in the United Kingdom, 20 in Japan, 11 in Korea, 10 in Taiwan, seven in Australia and one in Spain.
