The board of directors of Country Garden Holdings Company Limited (the "Company") announces that the Company has received the "Notice of Acceptance of Registration" dated 17 November 2017 (the "Notice") from the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors in relation to the issue of unsecured three-year medium term notes by the Company to financial market institutional investors in the People's Republic of China (registration code: Zhong Shi Xie Zhu [2017] No. MTN656).

The registered amount of these medium term notes is RMB9.5 billion, such registered amount will be effective for two years from the date of issue of the Notice. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited and Agricultural Bank of China Limited are the joint lead underwriters. The Company may issue the medium term notes in tranches within the effective period. The proceeds from the medium term notes are intended to be used to repay the borrowings from financial institution(s) by the Company and its subsidiaries in the People's Republic of China and to replenish their working capital.
