Countryside Properties : BROOK VALLEY GARDENS WINS BEST RESIDENTIAL NEW BUILD

Brook Valley Gardens, which forms part of the regeneration of the former Dollis Valley Estate in Chipping Barnet, Hertfordshire, has won the award for 'Best Residential New Build (10+ units)' at the Delivering for Barnet Architecture Awards 2017.

Working in partnership with L&Q and Barnet Council, Countryside, one of the UK's leading home builders specialising in place making and urban regeneration, is delivering a collection of contemporary new houses and apartments, designed by Alison Brooks Architects and HTA.

The 'Residential New Build (10+ units)' award was presented by Councillor Stephen Sowerby in a ceremony held at Middlesex University on Tuesday 21 November. In the same category, The Mount at Millbrook Park in Mill Hill was also commended, marking a night of Countryside success.

The Brook Valley Gardens regeneration development is transforming the former Dollis Valley housing estate, providing over 600 high quality new homes, of which 230 will be affordable, across five development phases. Previously nominated for an NLA award for 'Best Residential Project' in 2013, Brook Valley Gardens is leading the way in sustainable suburban development, also delivering new facilities for the local community, including shared communal gardens, a nursery and a community centre.

The Delivering for Barnet Architecture Awards celebrate and promote well-designed buildings and open spaces that enhance the quality of life of Barnet's residents.
