Countrywide : Virgin Money partners with Countrywide to support borrowers for New Build, Custom Build and Shared Ownership properties

Countrywide Surveying Services has been appointed by Virgin Money as its valuation services partner to support borrowers for New Build, Custom Build and Shared Ownership properties.

Part of the UK's largest property services group, Countrywide Surveying Services provides valuation and panel management services to the mortgage lending community, employing more than 400 chartered surveyors throughout the UK.

The partnership complements Virgin Money's latest move to extend support for the new build sector, with the launch of its new Custom Build and Shared Ownership propositions.

Countrywide Surveying Services will provide a specialist and operational team dedicated to all new home valuation instructions, supporting borrowing for New Build, Custom Build and Shared Ownership properties. In addition to this, Virgin Money will have access to Countrywide Surveying Services unique New Build portal which provides an exposure management facility, monitoring exposure on a site and phase basis.

Charitable donation

For every Custom Build and Shared Ownership mortgage completion, Virgin Money will donate £100 to Crisis, a national charity for homeless people. Virgin Money's partners BuildLoan, Countrywide and Eversheds will also make additional donations for every Custom Build completion through Virgin Money, taking the total donation to £150 per loan.
