Coventry Health Care, Inc. : Coventry Health Care Announces Missouri Managed Care Award

BETHESDA, Md. (February 21, 2012) - Coventry Health Care,
Inc. (NYSE: CVH) announced today that it has received
notification from the State of Missouri of an award to
provide services for the State's Medicaid managed care
program known as MO HealthNet Managed Care. The
statewide award covering the Eastern, Central, and Western
Managed Care Regions is consistent with Coventry's
current market-leading statewide presence and incorporates
the membership which was recently acquired as part of the
Family Health Partners transaction. The new contract is
scheduled to commence on July 1, 2012 and is one year in
duration with two potential extension periods.
