Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® is honoring the many contributions of U.S. military veterans this year with a promotion in all 634 stores in 42 states that includes a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert to veterans and an opportunity for guests to make purchases that support the United Service Organizations (USO).

“We salute all veterans who have defended our country and protected our freedom. They sacrificed time with their families in service to all Americans,” said Sandra Cochran, former Army captain and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. CEO and president.

For 45 years, Cracker Barrel has demonstrated support of servicemen, servicewomen and veterans. This year Cracker Barrel will offer veteran guests a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake dessert during lunch and dinner on Nov. 11, to thank them for their commitment and sacrifice. The partnership between Cracker Barrel and USO was made possible by The Coca-Cola Company’s longstanding relationship with both organizations.

Along with the complimentary dessert for veterans, Cracker Barrel guests may purchase the Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake on Nov. 11, or select retail items from the Red, White & Blue collection from Nov. 1-11, and 10 percent of all proceeds will be donated to the USO. The retail items include God Bless America and Colossal Flag Tervis, Land of Free Word Block, Peg Game, Flag Cookie, All American Mix, and Camo and Pink Camo Jelly Bellies.

The USO is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the military community from the moment one joins the military, throughout deployments and as troops transition into civilian life after their service.

“We are excited that Cracker Barrel customers will be able to help support the USO this Veterans Day,” said USO VP Corporate Alliances Christy Hartsell. “Partnerships like this make it possible for us to remain by the side of our men and women in uniform and their loved ones.”

In addition to the in-store promotion, Cracker Barrel will honor and recognize employees who are veterans on the company’s Facebook page between Nov. 1-11 at www.facebook.com/crackerbarrel.
