Store creates approximately 200 jobs; Krissie Altman named general manager

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store today opened a new location in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. Located at 1740 Route 228, the new store will be open Sunday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

This store marks Cracker Barrel's 648th location across 44 states and 25th in Pennsylvania. The nearly 10,000 square-foot restaurant and retail store brings approximately 200 new jobs to the area.

Krissie Altman, who began her career at Cracker Barrel almost 14 years ago, has been named general manager.

'We are so excited to finally bring Cracker Barrel's mission of Pleasing People to Cranberry Township,' said Altman. 'Cranberry has been so welcoming, and we look forward to providing high-quality, homestyle meals and shopping that's surprisingly unique and genuinely fun to this great community.'

At Cracker Barrel, breakfast is available all day with lunch and dinner options beginning at 11 a.m. Cracker Barrel serves homestyle meals prepared from scratch like homemade chicken n' dumplins and Wholesome Fixin's® meals, which are full-flavored options prepared with fresh ingredients for a lighter twist on guest-favorite dishes.

Each Cracker Barrel location is uniquely decorated with authentic artifacts, memorabilia and signage collected by a team of Americana experts. The walls of Cracker Barrel stores reflect the nation's rich history and by tailoring elements to the local community, offer a homespun appeal for locals. Several walls in this store are dedicated to celebrating the Cranberry Township community, including pieces that pay homage to Pittsburgh sports, Pennsylvania's roots in the coal and steel industries and, of course, cranberry farming.

Along with dining in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, Cracker Barrel guests can enjoy shopping in the old country store for toys, games, food items, apparel, accessories and other unique items. Cracker Barrel collects inspiration from all parts of life and shares that with guests through well-curated collections designed around compelling themes.
