CRAWFORD & COMPANY ATLANTA (October 1, 2015) - Crawford & Company® (NYSE: CRDA; CRDB), the world's largest independent provider of claims management solutions, has named Paul Gilbert managing director, vice president, and executive general adjuster for Crawford Global Technical Services® (GTSSM).
While leading the GTS West region, Gilbert will further develop Crawford's entertainment and alternative-energy lines of business and manage his current accounts.
'Paul's diverse and wide-reaching skill set will enable him to drive GTS's position as the premier Large Loss and Complex Unit in the United States and worldwide,' said Rich Lafayette, senior vice president and GTS chief technical officer. 'We are pleased to have him return to this leadership position.'
Gilbert was initially employed with Crawford in 1994 as a senior property adjuster. He held other adjuster positions within the Company and from 2012 to 2013 was managing director of the GTS West region. His broad range of technical expertise includes renewable energy, construction all risk, hospitality, contingency, retail, earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes, flooding, and fire.
Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rhode Island and has earned the Associate in Claims designation from the Insurance Institute of America. He is multi-state licensed as well as earthquake-certified.
