• Fundamentally redesigned web site

  • Optimized display also on mobile devices

  • In the new corporate design with silver as the principal color

With the relaunch of its corporate web site, Daimler is now presenting itself online with its new corporate design with silver as the principal color.

The fundamentally redesigned web site uses simple navigation to guide visitors to the pages they are looking for. The changing focal topics with large-scale images on the home page provide quick information on new and interesting developments at the group. The sections on sustainability, press and investors provide the most important information for customers, applicants, journalists, shareholders and analysts in a clearly structured manner. In future, Daimler's social media channels will also be integrated, giving users direct access to social networks.

Another highlight of the new web site is its flexible layout. Whether it is accessed with a computer, tablet or smart phone, the web site has been designed to be responsive so that it will adapt to the output device easily and be displayed with the ideal layout for any screen. This means that the web site's functionality is maintained at all times and all information can be accessed quickly, easily and intuitively.

'With the relaunch, we are not only adapting our web site to the new corporate design but also presenting ourselves in a way that is more modern, targeted and emotional,' said Jörg Howe, Head of Global Communications at Daimler AG. 'Our visitors can navigate quickly and comfortably regardless of where they are or what kind of device they are using to access our web site.'

The integration of the career web site, which now also appears in silver like the corporate web site, is another new development. This is where potential applicants can find information about Daimler as an employer as well as employment and career opportunities at the company.
