Daktronics : O2 Media Orders 14th Digital Billboard from Daktronics

BROOKINGS, S.D. - Oct. 30, 2017 - O2 Media of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, recently purchased a new digital billboard, designed and manufactured by Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota. O2 Media is no stranger to Daktronics or the digital billboard product line as this purchase marks the company's 14th digital billboard from Daktronics.
'We just love working with a local company, somebody that we want to continue to build our business with,' said O2 Owner Doug Muth. 'Daktronics is a strong partner for us. They take care of us and are very responsive if we have a technical issue, which we never do with these new boards! We have long-term warranties, but it almost feels like we don't need them. That's really what drives us to use Daktronics.'
A powerful new product in the Out of Home market is the DB-6400; O2 Media owns several of the displays. The DB-6400 features Snap™ Calibration, a brand-new calibration technology Daktronics recently introduced to the market. Snap™ Calibration allows technicians to replace modules in the display and press a button remotely to calibrate them to automatically blend to match the surrounding modules. This results in less time on site and enhanced lifetime image quality.

O2 Media has several recent installations around Sioux Falls and features an innovative method for selling advertising space: online sales. O2 Media utilizes a software called Fliphound, enabling customers to select their preferred advertising specifications, with salespersons standing by to assist with any inquiries.
