Daktronics : Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino Adds Two Daktronics LED Displays For Dynamic Interactive Content In New Expansion

Full audiovisual entertainment experience to be unveiled

BROOKINGS, S.D. - Apr. 20, 2017 - Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has provided two new LED video displays for Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in the new expansion recently added to their casino in Buffalo, New York. Partnering with Indirap, a professional video production team, the Daktronics installation will bring interactive content and entertainment to the staircase in the entry of the casino's new addition, The WD Bar & Grille.

The display on the first floor measures approximately 16 feet high by 9.5 feet wide and is located between two staircases heading up to the second level of the new casino expansion. The display on the second floor is at the top of the stairs and measures approximately 18 feet high by 10.5 feet wide. Both displays feature 4-millimeter line spacing for crisp, clear imagery at close viewing distances as patrons walk by.

The installation includes a custom Daktronics audio system for a full audiovisual experience when entering the space. A total of four loudspeakers were installed, one on each side of each display, to provide loud, clear audio focused on the people viewing the displays.

Sensors in the area pick up movement to trigger the interactive content developed by Indirap which pays tribute to the Seneca Nation heritage, culture and traditions which include the Thanksgiving address, lacrosse and more. Other interactive pieces feature buffalo walking toward the screen and stopping to pose for pictures as well as Buffalo City Hall being made out of playing cards.

'This is an exciting project as it brings together a full audiovisual experience to people entering the casino's new wing,' said Mike Novak, Daktronics sales representative. 'We walked Seneca through a few different options for their display technology before they selected the 4-millimeter as the best fit for their intended application.

'The coordination and installation of the video displays, audio system, sensors and control system into one connected interface was a challenge our team was eager to accept. The result is an interactive experience that people are sure to enjoy when they visit the casino.'
