Danone is one the world leading food-processing groups. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- fresh milk products (58%; world leader): yogurts and desserts (Danone, Activia, Actimel, Danette, Gervais brands, etc.);
- baby foods (19.9%; world leader): Blédina, Wow&Gate, Nutricia and Milupa brands;
- bottled water (15.6%): natural water, aromatized water or enriched in vitamins (brands Evian, Volvic, Badoit, Aqua, etc.);
- medical nutrition products (6.5%).
At the end of 2012, the group had 194 production sites throughout the world.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Europe (54.5%), Asia-Pacific (15.2%) and other (30.3%).
