As part of the centennial anniversary of the United States of America's entrance into World War I, the Patrouille de France is taking part in a North American tour from March 17 to May 6, 2017.

On the schedule for this exceptional event (the first tour of the USA in over thirty years): 12 flight demonstrations, organized through commemorations and air shows, 30 transit flights, and 9 flyovers of monuments and symbolic places in the Franco-American relationship, including a flyover of the most famous of them all, the Statue of Liberty, in New York on March 25.

On April 20 and 21, the 10 Alpha Jets of the Patrouille de France are also expected at Langley Air Force Base in the State of Virginia. Here they will join the Rafales from the French Air Force involved in the Trilateral Exercise Initiative (TEI), which aims to maintain and improve interoperability and mutual knowledge between the air forces of the United Kingdom, the USA and France.
